Commuter HeartsI fell in love on the train today

Ingnorance Is BlissThere are holes in this blindfold
But I'll happily pretend
I cannot see the light
InsomniaThe covers are warm and comfortable

The mattress thick and soft

The moon is high and the crickets singing

I have walked a thousand miles
My muscles ache

I have kept my contacts in too long
My eyes are red and weary

I am exhausted
Tired and longing for respite

Tossing and turning
My mind will not shut off
My eyes will not close

The Summer Serenity Wish HouseEveryday I take the bus to school. It's not my favorite mode of transportation. It is tedious and uncomfortable. The bus makes frequent stops that jerk me away from whatever idle thoughts I'm having. But everyday, as the high-rise buildings flash by in bouts of light and shadow, the bus zips by a tiny little house.

It doesn't belong there. The house is in the bungalow style; all spread out and lazy. It is quaint, a gable style roof and all covered in ivy. Hm, well its sort of based on the idea that God doesn't hear or answer our prayers and It's also sort of based on the idea that some prayers were never actually intended for God. I like to think that these unanswered prayers are just bouncing along on the ceiling waiting for and angel to come and gather them up. Its a silly untrue fantasy, but hey.

I think God listens, but when we don't like the answer He gives us, we choose to take it that it means He doesn't exist. Just humanity, I guess. Because everyone's always right. :P

I appreciate that this is just a fantasy though, and I love the imagery and concept. You're a great writer. When's the novel coming on dA? No pressure, just joking. If you want anyone's opinion, send me a note and I can give you my email. I'll have heaps of time after October (which is nearly over - yes! No more exams!), if you're interested. Just a thought :)

I think the whole idea that there is no answer sort of goes with the whole inability to understand God and the idea that we can.

Hm, I don't think I'll be posting it anytime soon!! I have barely started writing! Cool, I might note you after october (lucky!!) You must be really glad they are almost over!

Yeah, just take it easy. No pressure to note me, just if you want a friendly eye cast over it. Oh, and if you're interested there is a thing called NaNoWriMo, which is basically where anyone who's signed up aims to write the first draft of a novel within a month. It's excruciatingly painful, but at the end of the month, you should end up with around 50,000 words. A good first draft. Then comes the editing, which is worse apparently. Anyway, if you're up for it, let me know if you join and we can be 'Writing Buddies'! (How corny :P)

I am glad that they're almost over. Nearly two weeks and I'm FREE!!!

That looks really intense and cool! I would love to be writing buddies with you, but school is still here for me :p But since I've decided I don't really know that what I'm studying is right why not! It'll drive me crazy but hey!
